I'm a bedside nurse, wife, and mother who has spent more than a decade caring for patients and families.
For most of my career, earning a BSN was not a part of my plan. Like many nurses, I was focused on work, family, and the responsibilities of everyday life.
Then an opportunity I wasn't even looking for opened a door I hadn't planned to walk through.
Through educational funding provided by Southcoast Health and UMass Dartmouth, I was able to pursue by BSN without the financial burden of student debt.
That experience opened my eyes to how many opportunities exist for nurses: conferences, certifications, scholarships, leadership development, mentorship, and continuing education. Yet many nurses never access them—not because they aren't capable, but because they don't know about them, don't have time to find them, or can't afford them when they do.
I realized how easily my own opportunity could have been missed. That's why I created GoNurseGo.
My goal is simple: to help nurses discover opportunities, remove barriers, and pursue growth they may never have thought possible.
